Tapered Roller Bearings
DPI Tapered roller bearings have tapered inner and outer ring raceways between which tapered rollers are arranged in a cage assembly.
Rollers are conical guided by a back-face rib on the cone. Tapered Roller Bearings are capable of taking high radial loads and axial loads in one direction only. They are generally mounted in pairs.
The Cup and the cone assemblies are separable and can be mounted separately for ease of mounting.
Generally Pressed steel cages are used in Tapered Roller Bearings assembly.
The DPI standard range of single row tapered roller bearings covers the popular sizes of metric bearings manufactured to ISO 355 and inch bearings which follow the ANSI/ABMA standard.

Spherical Thrust Roller Bearings
DPI Spherical Thrust Roller Bearings are thrust bearings containing spherical designed convex rollers.
The large number of asymmetrical rollers with precisely designed raceways with optimum conformity make these bearings capable to handle radial loads together with simultaneously acting axial loads at relatively high speeds. These bearings also possess the self-aligning capability.

Cylindrical Roller Bearings
DPI Cylindrical Roller Bearings consist of rollers in a single row and are always guided between the integral open flanges on one of the rings.The cylindrical rollers are in linear contact with their raceways.
Single Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings are most commonly used.
DPI Cylindrical Roller bearings possess high radial load capacity and are suitable for high speeds applications.
The outer and inner rings of all cylindrical roller bearings can be separated for ease of mounting.
Cages used are mainly Pressed steel or machined brass cages
Some Cylindrical Roller Bearings have no ribs on either the inner or outer ring, so the rings can move axially. N, NU and NN types are used as free-end bearings.
Cylindrical roller bearings, where in either the inner ring or outer ring has two ribs and the other ring has one, such bearings possess the ability of absorbing some axial load in one direction. NJ and NF types are used in such applictions
NUP Types can be used in applications where the requirement is for fixed end bearings.
Double-row cylindrical roller bearings have high radial rigidity and are used primarily for precision machine tools.
